Lesotho (National University of Lesotho) NUL Marketing Committee gives career guidance to Bits & Bits Progressive Academy
On the 2nd September, 2022, the NUL Marketing Committee welcomed the Bits &Bits Progressive Academy to the campus for a career guidance session. It is of great importance to hold career guidance to high school students before writing their final examinations in their terminal year so that the students plan for future career endeavors based on their individual interests.
The high school students were first welcomed by Ms. Pamase Polaki from the Academic Office, who gave an overview of the University and what to expect during the visit. The visiting students together with their teachers had a chance to visit each and every Faculty to know what the Faculties offer, the entry requirements and their potential career opportunities after completing their programmes. They also visited the Library where Mr. Mokotjo toured them within the Library facilities. The last stop was the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) where Mr. Realeboha Segoete and Wardens talked about student life indicating that NUL is their home away from home.
The NUL Marketing committee consists of representatives from the 7 faculties of the University, units / departments and the Institute of Extra Mural Studies. Dr. Moleboheng from the Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. ‘Makhulu Makumane from Faculty of Education; Ms. Bokang Mahlelehlele from Faculty of Health Sciences; Dr. Mokone ‘Musi from Faculty of Humanities; Adv. Ntsane Lesenyeho from Faculty of Law; Ms. ‘Mapalo Mohasi from Faculty of Social Sciences; Mr. Salemane Mallane from Faculty of Science and Technology; Ms. Bigiwe Sopeng from IEMS; Mrs. Liteboho Nono from DSA; Mr. William Mokotjo from the NUL Library as well as Mrs. ‘Mamosa Moteetee and Mr. Thapelo Sephiri from the Communications and Marketing Office.
