Moi University Launch of Data Sciences Programs
On Tuesday 26th April, 2022, Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) – Moi University and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) managed to co-ordinate the three grants, with emphasis on research and training on Data Science. The three grants are; the NYU-Moi Data Sciences for Social Determinants Training Program (DSSD), Moi-Brown Partnership for HIV Biostatistics Training (NAMBARI) and the New R01 on Data Science for Decision making in Care cascade. The first two are training programs while the third is a research program.
The launch was presided over Prof. Isaac N. Kimengi (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Research and Extension) on behalf the Vice-Chancellor.
