Egypt (Egypt-Japan) To enhance cooperation and support scientific research: E-JUST President visits a number of major universities in Japan

Prof. Amr Adly, President of Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, visited a number of major universities in Japan, accompanied by a delegation from the university, from the 16th to the 26th of October. The aim of the visit was to enhance scientific and academic cooperation with partner Japanese universities, support the student exchange program, and discuss introducing new joint educational programs with those universities within the framework of cooperation between E-JUST and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. Prof. Amr Adly stated that his visit to Japan began with a visit to the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Okayama Campus), where he was received by the Dean of the Institute and discussed ways to enhance scientific cooperation between E-JUST and Tokyo Tech to support industry. The provision of joint academic programs and support for student exchange were also discussed. Prof. Amr Adly praised the role of Tokyo Tech in supporting scientific research in the field of technology, as well as providing distinguished academic programs in this field. The Dean of Tokyo Tech also admired the academic reputation of E-JUST as a leader in scientific research in the Middle East. The meeting was attended by the delegation from E-JUST, including Prof. Masaki Suzuki, Vice President of E-JUST for Regional and International Affairs, Eng. Osama Fathy – Secretary General, Dr. Tamer Megahed – Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Power Engineering, and Dr. Okano Takase – Representative of the JICA at E-JUST.
