The university was founded in 1982 and is located in Ado,ektit state south west Nigeria. Ekiti state university is a university committed to producing quality graduates to solve Nigeria's Social and economic problems, The University does this by providing its students with quality education. Ekiti state university has no religious affiliation like most state universities in the country and accepts students from different parts of the country.
