Mauritania (Ecole Normale Supérieure De Nouakchott)

The Ecole Normale Supérieure de Nouakchott (ENS) is the oldest institution of higher education in Mauritania. It was founded on September 20, 1970 and is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Its main mission is to ensure the coverage of the needs of the Ministry of National Education and the reform of the education system, in terms of training teachers, associate teachers, inspectors of secondary education, inspectors of technical education, fundamental inspectors, trainers from Teachers' Training Colleges and laboratory technicians.
